Walter R. Veigel - (1868-1945)- Grew up in southern Minnesota. Came to North Dakota in 1892 as a member of the survey party establishing the boundary of the Berthold Indian Reservation. Engaged in G.L.O. survey work until its completion in this state in 1912. City engineer of Dickinson and county surveyor of Stark County. Portrait. Identified.
